Meet The CAST
SCOTT FENSTERER, Creator and Host of Monster Manor
Scott’s love of classic monsters began at the age of four years old when his older brother showed him a Castle Films 8mm version of Universal’s Frankenstein. As the frames clacked by, Scott saw Karloff as the Monster for the first time and was transfixed! From that day, Scott’s fascination with monsters continued to grow. That fascination inspired him to learn about filmmaking, makeup effects, and creating props and maquettes.
His Career has found him in some of the most surreal environments… He has worked on such projects as Twisted Toyfare Theater for Wizard Publishing, season 5 of Cartoon Network’s Robot Chicken, films for Georgia’s Center for Puppetry Arts film festival, Tyler Perry’s BOO!, and was a contestant on Season 9 of SYFY Channel’s FACE OFF where he was seen in every episode!
Monster Manor is an extention of this love of monsters and everything behind the classic monsters we all grew up with.
MIKE KINALD, Creator, Segment Writer, and Friend of Boris!
Mike has always been a creative and imaginative individual. He always saw the world in a way others didn’t and humor became an outlet for that unique vision. At an english teacher’s recommendation, he started to focus his creativity in a more constructive way and began writing and participating in improv clubs on campus.
As he entered college he continued to hone his skill in comedy clubs around the university as well as renaissance faires. After a move to Texas, he signed up for improv workshops where he became a part of The Hideout. There, with his troupe mates, he became a founding member of Improv for Evil where he wrote and directed several successful shows including GrimmNoir, Maestro, and Holy 1960’s Batman, Batman!. Mike has also participated in haunts as various “scaractors” in his career, where Boris was effectively “born”. He brings that sarcasm and dark humor to Monster Manor in the form of Boris’s reviews, news, and reluctant shenaniginery with the “Fensterpoopers”. Fans love his tongue-in-cheek view of life…
