The One and Only Creature Featured Celebration!

Gill-a-bration was a success! Held at Silver Springs State Park in Ocala Florida this past September, the event raised over $2,100.00 for kids of Give Kids the World!

Fans from all over the country gathered to meet friends, collectors, commentators, and, of course, RICOU BROWNING himself! Universal Monsters Historian David J. Skal delighted fans by speaking on his new book on Dracula, and had a great panel with Ricou discussing his memories of working on the Universal film series, work since, and how he still swims every day! (In his tub! LOL!) J Micheal Roddy (Monsterkids: The Impact of Things that Go Bump in the Night, The Shark is Still Working) had a special screening of his tribute to Julie Adams as well as the feature, MonsterKids! He was joined during his panel by David J Skal, and those two were electric!

The captains of the Glass Bottom Boats tolerated our drop-in guests, Aaron Phillips, The Creature, and yours truly as we rode along with the fans!

The festivities were capped off for the night with the screening of Creature from the Black Lagoon!

The event is closed for now, but we will have our official launch for REVENGE of Gill-A-Bration, coming in the Fall of 2020! Venue, dates, guests, and more are all in the works as we speak! Please check back for updates…
